I notice that fatigue is one of the common daily complaints, where low testosterone is a principal contributor, especially in men but also in women.
- In one study, 68 marines under severe energy deficits, whose testosterone dropped under 10.5 nmol/L, reported greater fatigue compared to those who maintained normal levels.[1]
- Also, I found a study quite interesting: in frail men over 70, a trial showed that testosterone therapy combined with strength training reduced fatigue by over 25% after 20 weeks, compared to only 5% in controls.[3]
If you feel like you are experiencing persistent fatigue, it may be worth testing both your total and free testosterone.
We have recived the DUTCH test that analyzes urine to assess hormonal profile, including sex and adrenal hormones. Also to notice is non-invasive and at home.
